Fremont Street Experience – Entertainment Schedule For “Summer of ‘69″
One of the best (if not THE best) summertime values in Las Vegas are the FREE concerts at The Fremont Street Experience. They are almost one of the best kept secrets in Las Vegas, because they aren’t heavily advertised. But, we’re talking big name musicians…like The Guess Who, Johnny Rivers, ELO2, Starship, Badfinger, Marshall Tucker Band, and Kansas.
Now, listen up baby boomers! You’re going to love this.
The FSE management has just released this summer’s schedule of events, and WOW…is it a great one! The theme will be “Summer Of ‘69 – Vegas or Bust”. Get out the tie-dyed T’s, because this is Farm Out, Right Arm, Peas and Gravy. No..wait a minute. Far Out, Right On, Peace and Groovy. Yeah, that’s it. (Hey, it’s been awhile.) Anyway, check it out…

I’ve seen The Guess Who perform on Fremont Street three times, and even got a chance to meet them. No, Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman aren’t with them. But, many of the performing members have been with the group during their heyday, and they still sound absolutely great!
So, if you’re planning a Las Vegas NV Vacation this summer…I hope this helps you schedule it so you can see your favorite group(s) and have a very memorable summer stay in beautiful Las Vegas! We hope to see you soon.
The Thrill and Excitement of a Las Vegas Flight
The hardest thing to book is a Las Vegas flight. A lot of times you’ll find yourself just begging the person behind the counter to book you in any of the earliest available Las Vegas flight if you are really in hurry. Mostly people that have important meetings or business transactions that need to be done in the city of sin find themselves caught in a melee just trying to get booked in a Las Vegas flight. For people that lived almost all their lives traveling to every major city in the United States, they are well aware of the impossibility of getting booked to a Las Vegas flight in just a moment’s notice. This phenomenon of traveling to Las Vegas started as soon as the first few casinos opened it’s doors to the gambling upper class Americans. Since then even Joe Average has his eyes set in going to the Sin City of the Midwestern frontier to have his kicks and enjoy the desert sun and the glittering lights of the casinos, strip clubs and Las Vegas as a whole.
Las Vegas have since been known to be the place to go to have a good time, enjoy a nice game of cards and just plain have fun. With Las Vegas being in the center of the almost all of the “good” things in life there is no wonder that “it’s hell going in and it’s hell going out”. Every person in the US that have saved up just to get a piece of the action that is Las Vegas is up against all the odds of getting booked a Las Vegas flight instantly. Mostly they are up against the rest of the country getting on that elusive Las Vegas flight. And what’s funny about this everyday truth is that even the most well known celebrity, political figures, and other well known people also experience this. So if you happen to bump into any Hollywood star, don’t be surprised that they are there because as a fact someone more popular than then might be on their way to Vegas that’s they got bumped off the business class that’s why your sharing seats on that particular Las Vegas flight.
There are about a dozen flights in and out of Vegas in a day and there are about a couple hundred people going in and out of Vegas for different reasons. Vegas has been going through a lot of changes in the recent years in terms of service and business. More and more people are getting on that Las Vegas flight see Vegas for more than the casinos and strip clubs. Las Vegas flights have been taking and getting people out of the City of Sin. There are more sporting events that happen in Vegas, more business conferences and expositions have been conducted in Vegas and there are a lot more business for airline companies because of this. This increase in the frequency of travel to Vegas showed a dramatic increase in Las Vegas flights. Not only that people are booking Las Vegas flight on a more up and up pace. The dramatic increase in the need for planes that are headed in and out of Vegas in the recent years.
Recently, because of the dramatic and enormous leap in the Las Vegas flight market, even after the 9/11 terrorist attack, companies that invested their money in Vegas bound planes have been making as much as the casinos. Good news for Vegas and good news to the rest of the Industry in the desert city of games.
